UPDATE ON AT&T SERVICE OUTAGES

UPDATE-A wide spread AT&T service outages was reported early Wednesday, April 5, 2017. AT&T Global Media Relations, Tennessee and Kentucky Senior Public Relations Manager Cathy Lewandowski has provided the following statement regarding the cause of the recent AT&T service outages.

 

 

AT&T Statement: 

Service has been restored for customers in the Clarksville area whose service was affected by a cable damaged by a contractor working for another provider. Our technicians worked quickly to repair the cable and service is running normally.
 

On Wednesday, April 5, Outage.Report (http://outage.report/att) reported AT&T customers were experiencing minor and major service interruptions including slow home and business internet access but the primary service outages affected cellular customers.
