ROBERT HAMLIN, born June 11, 1924, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Vantage Point Village in Ashland City, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 92 years.
Mr. Hamlin is a Veteran of the United States Army, retired a production worker/oiler for Fort Motor Corporation and was a loving husband to his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Smith Hamlin, who survives him.
Robert Hamlin leaves behind his son, Jerry (Janis) Hamlin; brothers, Lester and Walter Hamlin; sisters, Gladys (Ernest) Hensley and Jearline (Vince) Eades; grandchildren, Robert Spencer (Amy) Hamlin and Callie Jonet (Eric) Meadows; and his great-grandchildren, Hollister Hamlin, Camdyn Hamlin, Meili Hamlin, McKendrie Meadows and Hensley Meadows. His parents precede Mr. Hamlin in death as well as several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service for Mr. Hamlin will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 12:00 noon at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of God in Smith, Kentucky. Ernest Hensley will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hensley Cemetery in Martins Fork, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, February 22 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
