NANNIE ELLEN WALKER OBITUARY

Nannie Ellen Walker of Pleasant View, Tennessee, born April 23, 1913 in Robertson County, Tennessee, died at her home on March 22, 2017 at the age of 103 years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Joelton.  Brother Tom Malone, Brother Barry Simpson and Brother Corey Minter will be officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hudgens Cemetery in Ashland City with Landon Hogan, Jackson Hogan, Daniel Clemments, Luke Jenkins, Brent Binkley, Barry Balthrop, Troy Balthrop and Tony Binkley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Binkley and Billy Binkley and the Senior Adult II Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Joelton from 12:00 until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by parents Jordan C. and Della Hudgens Balthrop, husband Marvin Walker, sister Lillian Binkley and brothers Cleveland Balthrop and Harrell D. Balthrop.

She is survived by her son, Gilford (Gaynell) Walker of Pleasant View; grandchildren, Marcia (Edwin) Hogan and Marla (Shawn) Clemments; and great-grandchildren, Landon Hogan, Jackson Hogan, Daniel Clemments and Caroline Clemments.

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church. Any donations may be sent in care of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View.
