– Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation continue to investigate a homicide happening Saturday, January 21, along the 1000 block of Golf Course Lane in Ashland City, Tennessee. BREAKING NEWS UPDATE 1/23/2017, 1:09:15 AM
Cheatham County Sheriff Mike Breedlove assured citizens on the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department Website residents weren’t in any danger and there wasn’t any reason to panic or be alarmed.

Saturday night, January 21 and Sunday morning, January 22, Forensic Scientists with Tennessee Bureau Violent Crimes Response Team investigated the scene of the crime.
At this time no details on the homicide or identification of the victim has been released. Investigation is still ongoing.
