CHEATHAM COUNTY COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR MARCH 2017


  • THURSDAY, MARCH 16, 2017 
The fair is being sponsored by Cheatham County School District-Title I Department, the Cheatham County Health Department and Cheatham County Community Enhancement Coalition.

Cheatham Strong Health Fair, a family-friendly fair will be held from 6-8 p.m., at Ashland City Elementary School.  Several Cheatham Cheatham County groups, organizations and businesses will be on hand to promote the Healthier Tennessee program with demonstrations, giveaways, games, activities and tasting stations.

Representatives from the Parks and Recreation Departments, U.S. Corps of Engineers, Harpeth River State Park, Adventureworks are scheduled to attend and The Cheatham County Health Department, Cheatham County Master Gardeners, Cheatham County UT/TSU Extension Office, Cheatham County Community Enhancement Coalition and Cheatham County Public Library will have booths.

Members of the Senior Center at Ashland City will demonstrate Tai Chi, yoga, and S.A.I.L. and ACES students will also participate with special demonstrations, including the Cha Cha Slide.

“Be Seen In Your Green” on St. Patrick’s Day at The Livery Stables Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6-11:00 p.m. for entertainment by The Crossbones Band with classic hits from the 70’s and 80’s.  Dinner and Show $25.00 or at the door (no dinner) $10.00 for music and dancing.
