Cheatham County’s Sycamore High School Senior War Eagle female wrestler, Caitlyn Gilmore, earned a State Championship Title at the TSSAA State Wrestling Championships held February 16-19, 2017 at the Williamson County Agricultural Expo Center in Franklin, Tennessee.

Gilmore was one of 17 wrestlers representing Cheatham County School District, including twelve male wrestlers, three from Cheatham Central High School, six from Harpeth High School, three from Sycamore High School and four additional female wrestlers from Sycamore High School.

Medaling at the TSSAA State Championships include the following:
